The American Payroll Association is thrilled to reveal the highly anticipated artwork for its 2020 National Payroll Week campaign! You’re officially invited to join Team Payroll USA as we bring home the gold during this year’s “Paylympics” celebration, September 7-11.

The official NPW artwork is an important element of each year’s celebration and is a visual representation of 2020’s unique theme. This year’s design was inspired by modern day Olympic games posters but features a unique payroll twist. The flame of payroll excellence that is the focal point of this year’s artwork is created from stylized paychecks in the official NPW colors of green, gold, and purple. If you have ever visited APA’s official headquarters in San Antonio, you may notice a striking similarity to the Paychecks From Heaven sculpture featured on the exterior of the building.
This year’s artwork was designed and created by San Antonio based artist Michael Cruz, Interactive Graphic Designer for the American Payroll Association. Some of Michael’s known works have been the official poster artwork for Fiesta San Antonio in 2005, as well as working with the APA on the poster artwork for the NPW 2015 and 2019 campaigns.
The 2020 National Payroll Week celebration promises to be one of our best events yet as we celebrate Team Payroll and place the payroll profession in the national spotlight.
