Join Team Payroll USA and teach students how to bring home the gold during this year’s Money Matters National Education Day on Thursday, September 10!
As all payroll professionals know, 2020 brought a realm of changes, including a new Form W-4 – the first time it had been significantly changed since 1987! The updated Money Matters “Bring Home the Gold” curriculum will help instructors guide students through filling out the new Form W-4. The materials will also cover how to calculate net pay, differentiate between electronic payment methods like direct deposit and paycards, over-time pay, and much more.
This year, Money Matters National Education Day may look a little different. Students and teachers around the U.S. may still not be in traditional classrooms when school begins again this fall. Luckily, with the digital versions of the “Bring Home the Gold” student and teacher workbooks and PowerPoint presentation, the program is just as easy to present virtually as it is in-person. Thank you in advance to all our volunteers that will make a difference in the lives of teenagers and young adults this year. Get a head start and sign up to become a Money Matters volunteer today!
